Absolutely. Most of our members start as complete beginners. Chicks with Sticks was created specifically to make golf less intimidating and more fun. Our beginner and social lessons are designed for first-timers, and you’ll be learning alongside other women who are starting out too.

Wear something comfortable that you can move in. Think activewear or golf-style clothing. Trainers or golf shoes are fine for beginners. No need to overthink it.

No. Clubs are provided for beginner, intermediate and social lessons, so you don’t need to invest in equipment straight away. If you progress to our advanced level, we’ll guide you on when it makes sense to get your own clubs.

If bookings are closed, it usually means the current season is full or already in progress. The best way to stay in the loop is to join our mailing list or follow us on Instagram, where we announce new seasons and booking dates. Members also get priority access.

If you’ve never played or are very new, start with Beginner or Social. If you’ve already had lessons or played on a course, Intermediate may be a better fit. If you’re unsure, just get in touch and we’ll help you choose the right level.

Lesson packages are non-refundable once the season has started, as spaces are limited and reserved in advance. If you can no longer attend before the season begins, please contact us as early as possible and we’ll do our best to help, subject to availability and our terms.
